Sandig Falls one of South Cotabato destination

It’s like a wall with a vast amount of water gushing from it; that’s what Sandig Falls is. It is located at Brgy. Linan, Tupi, South Cotabato (about an hour walk from its jump off). Sandig Falls and all its glory is one of the 14 Falls that which you can trek in just A DAY.

How to get there

The trip’s main destination is the HUBO FALLS, however, this magical wonder fascinated me most. On the left side, as you can see, is the Balinsasayaw cave; a nesting place for the Balinsasayaw (swiflet). There’s this waterfall of the name “Soda Falls” because it tastes sour (I mean the water and of course I tried it too). And and and…. If you’re lucky, you might spot a Tarsier along the trek. The trip to Sandig Falls is cheap and easy. Once you step foot in Tupi, South Cotabato, just ride a ‘habal-habal’ going to Linan’s Barangay Hall. The local guides will be pleased to take you there.


There’s actually SO MUCH MORE stuff and waterfalls to discover at the place. All you gotta have is a little bit of money and an adventurous spirit then you’re good to go. I urge you to come and visit; feast in nature’s beauty for just ONE DAY.

Taking photos is one way of relaxing and having fun with new different people. You get to make the most of your time plus create a special bond that will probably last for a long time.Perks of doing so: You get to look at those damn pretty faces (stunningly beautiful models). Of course having a magician for a friend does not fail you at all times… so goodbye to tension and hello to stupid awe and fun (special thanks to my buddy Aldo Rafols for that).

The Concept

So we came up of basically a very simple concept that involves, heavy manly equipment, big construction trucks and cars (very manly) plus HOT GIRLS. By doing so, the incorporation of the idea that HOT CHICKS can ride those ‘boy toys’ is reinforced. Dem hot babes looking at ya claiming “They’re toys for Hot Girls too”.

Location

Finding the setting aint tough, all thanks to my Photography mentor Niko Llido who offered me his backyard (with those big wheels and stuff). Twas the Volkswagen that amused us though.

Models

With the help of these smokin’ hot models (Ms. Jean Alivio and Ms. Cassandra Sy), the photo shoot was realized. The best part of these girls is that not only do they hold such external graces but they have such adventurous spirits; always generous of their time if it does not compromise their schedules. Here are the photos from the shoot: mostly applied with ambient light with wide aperture. The Volkswagen photos are with strobes to add more light in the car’s image plus a lil’ bit of flash on the backseat to add contrast and emphasize on the separation of the background from the subject.
